Senior Medical Laboratory Scientist

Moreblessing is an epidemiologist with extensive experience in clinical laboratory work, public health and research working in Zimbabwe, Namibia and Rwanda. She has eight years’ experience in medical laboratory sciences and public health with a commitment to making a positive impact and adding value to peoples’ lives, and communities. Moreblessing is focused on consistent quality work and a desire to simplify and innovate the daily laboratory operations. She has expertise in specialized laboratory techniques such as molecular diagnostics for HIV and tuberculosis, cell culture and flow cytometry, Limited Antigen Avidity Assay for HIV recency testing and a wide range of other disciplines. Her research work has been on schistosomiasis and other soil transmitted helminths and the public health impact of HIV. She has a number of publications in high-impact peer reviewed journals. Moreblessing holds a bachelor of Medical Laboratory Sciences and a Master’s Degree in Medical Microbiology from University of Zimbabwe and a Masters’ in Public Health from Mount Kenya University.
